The Language Company: PLI and Widener University are in the suburb of Chester within the Philadelphia area, just twenty minutes by train or car from downtown Philadelphia and only ten minutes from Philadelphia International Airport.

Activities
The Language Company: PLI staff organizes social and cultural activities which take advantage of the Philadelphia area's many attractions. Many activities are free or have only a small fee. The Language Company: PLI may organize week-end trips to other cities such as Washington D.C. or New York City for a reasonable, affordable fee.

Conditional Admission and English Requirements
Widener University offers conditional admission letters to The Language Company: PLI students who meet all other admission requirements:
- TOEFL requirement for undergraduate students is 500/173 or completion of Level 9.
- TOEFL requirements for graduate engineering are 550/213 or completion of level 9
- TOEFL requirement for MBA is 550/213 or level 9 in lieu of TOEFL. Conditional admission letter available for MBA.
