About the Center

The Language Company-Bowling Green (TLC-Bowling Green) is a branch campus of the Language Company located on the grounds of Bowling Green State University.  We offer students high-quality academic programs on a beautiful, park-like campus.  The surrounding community is renowned for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and there are several major cities within a short drive.

TLC-Bowling Green's Intensive English classes are small with concrete learning objectives in our nine levels of instruction ranging from beginner to advanced.  Each course is four-weeks in duration and there are 13 start dates each year.  Because our program is intensive, students will have to concentrate on their studies but will have many opportunities to attend activities to learn about American culture and just have fun!

Age Requirements:

The minimum age requirement for the Intensive English Program offered by TLC-Bowling Green is 15 years old.

Weather:

The weather in the Bowling Green area varies widely and experiences all four seasons.  The temperatures can vary from 4˚ Celsius to -15˚ Celsius in winter and vary from 19˚ Celsius to 34˚ Celsius in the summer. May through September can be very hot and humid while December through March can be very cold and windy.  Bowling Green also receives an average of 100 centimeters of snow each winter.
