Activities
There is much to do in Northwest Ohio. Residents can enjoy summer outdoor activities such as swimming, as well as winter sports like ice skating and sledding. There is a robust park system and many cultural activities within a 30 minute drive.

Bowling Green State University
Bowling Green State University was established in 1910 and is the 14th largest producer of teachers in the United States. It is part of the public university system of the State of Ohio and is a fully accredited university. BGSU’s main campus is comprised of nearly 20,000 students, including 2700 graduate students, and is located in the safe and friendly town of Bowling Green, Ohio.
The University is situated on a 1,338-acre park-like campus, which includes more than 100 buildings. The campus is physically compact so you can walk or bike anywhere in 10-15 minutes. There are 30 computer labs, the main library has over 6 million items and there are art and film theaters.
BGSU offers more than 200 undergraduate majors, 46 master’s degree programs in 120 fields, and 17 doctoral programs. At the center of the University's academic community are the 785 full-time faculty who are actively engaged in teaching, research and creative activities, as well as service to the campus community, the nation and their profession. In support of the students and faculty, BGSU employs a non-teaching, full-time and part-time staff of more than 1,600 people.
Admission and English Requirements
BGSU offers conditional admission to TLC: BGLI students while they complete their English studies. If a student completes the BGLI program through Level 9 and the Research Paper Session, no TOEFL exam score is required for the undergraduate program. TOEFL testing scores or BGLI requirements are:
- Undergraduate Students must graduate from BGLI with a Level 9 and the Research Paper Session or obtain a TOEFL score of 500
