Why I study English in the 21st Century

We live in an international world. The transportation is developing, and we can use the internet anywhere. If you want to contact your foreign friends, you can send an E-mail or chat. That is how it is today. So, how will you communicate with them? Will you speak only your language? There are many languages on the earth, and different people speak their own language. If you speak only your language to communicate with your friends, that is foolish because the world is now more international than ever before. In many instructional fields, we run business together. Also, we study together in our university, college, and so on. All of them speak English. Many people living in the earth speak English because they think English is an official language. No one has decided that, but we agree. In these situations, will you stick to using only your language? Do you want to isolate yourself in your own boundary? Probably your answer is no. I think so. That is the reason why I study English in the 21st century.
