The Language Company is passing a milestone in its glamorous history. We are proudly celebrating the company’s 25th Anniversary on April 23, 2008. In a field where there is keen competition from within and from outside of the USA, we are exited that TLC has proven to be successful in meeting the needs of thousands of clients each year. It is a privilege for me to be a part of TLC as owner and as its CEO. It is a great honor that I meet so many individuals from throughout the world. On behalf of all TLC employees, I am grateful to all those who bestow the trust on TLC and our staff year after year. We are looking forward to many more years of service to our clients.

Ali Robati,
Chairman and CEO

Being a part of TLC’s 25th Anniversary is very special to me. It gives me the opportunity to take a moment and remember what is most important to me—the STUDENTS! I feel so fortunate to work in a business that not only gives you clients, but friends for life. I regularly receive emails and letters from past TLC graduates telling me how their lives have changed and how they continue to prosper. It always brings me such joy to know that we are not only teaching English, but we are changing lives and helping to make dreams come true!

Brenda Robati
TLC President

The 25th anniversary is important to me because it is a time to celebrate all that has been accomplished. TLC has weathered ups and downs in the industry all the while maintaining quality classes for our students. I am proud to be a part of a growing company and school that are always improving curricula and student services. Our students are very special to us and it is gratifying to see them and hear about their accomplishments after they have left —and know that we are counted as their friends. That says to me that we are a part of uniting people on a global basis.

Being part of an established parent organization like The Language Company (TLC) allows us as directors the opportunity to benefit from a heritage built over time in the developing field of English as a Second Language. TLC continues in its mission of preparing students toward success in their respective fields. Thanks, TLC, for the opportunities provided by a time-honored program. Happy 25th!

While celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Language Company this month at SBEI in South Bend, Indiana, we are extremely proud to share in the success of our friends around the world who make such milestones possible. Ultimately, the continued determination and contributions of our wonderful students and friends will make learning English with The Language Company a shared success for the next twenty-five years.

Director
South Bend English institute

The Language Company’s 25th Anniversary is more than just celebrating how long we have been in business; it’s celebrating why we are in business. The service that we provide is not only to teach English, but to help students reach their goals, whatever they may be. It is so gratifying for me to see students take the risk to travel abroad, often knowing little English, and in under a year receive university acceptance letters. Many students, who have lived in Orlando for years, are now getting better jobs because of learning English. This is why we are dedicated to the success of our students.

Director
Orlando English Institute

I am in awe of the hard work and effort that our students put into learning English. Such dedication motivates our team to give our students the best tools possible for continuing their development at Bowling Green State University and throughout their lives. The Bowling Green Language Institute is very fortunate to be a part of the The Language Company’s 25th Anniversary. We are building on the experience of the entire company to benefit our students and enable them to fulfill their goals. Here’s to 25 more years of growth for our schools, and most importantly, to our students!

Andrea M. Voogd
Director
Bowling Green Language Institute

As The Language Company celebrates 25 years of service to students, American friends, and our global community, it is easy to see what makes this organization so special, the TLC family. We at the Pennsylvania Language Institute have had the pleasure of welcoming thousands of students into this TLC family. Each one of these students is considered to be one of “the family”, and we enjoy the privilege of providing a learning environment which allows them to grow beyond English language.

Christopher Westfahl
Director
Pennsylvania Language Institute

It is such a privilege to be a part of The Language Company team. Especially meaningful is the 25th anniversary milestone. This demonstrates the enduring impact the company has had on a vast number of English language learners. Our students always receive TLC from kind, concerned staff members. I’m excited to share in this celebration as we look forward to many more years of not only enriching the lives of our ELLs, but empowering them as well.

Cindy Thompson
Director
Missouri Language Institute

I’m looking forward to celebrating the 25th anniversary of TLC, even though I am a pretty new member of this family myself. As I sit here in Boston, I’m happy to know there’s someone in Bowling Green or Edmond or Shawnee who can brainstorm ideas, share experiences, and collaborate with me in a business that can so often be competitive. It’s no small accomplishment to build a network of people who feel like helping each other on a regular basis!
